Name:: Teagen Black Wolfe Birthday:: March 15, 1992 Gender:: Female Average weight:: 110 Height:: 5'6"
Nationality:: American Mutt Eye color:: Blue Hair Color:: Brown Description:: Despite her average height, Teagen looks slightly shorter and younger than she actually is, mainly because of her slender frame and almost non-existent figure. To tell the truth, the brown-haired girl would at best be considered mildly pretty, but what she lacks in shocking beauty, she makes up in strength. Her features are slightly delicate, with a small, up-turned, often broken nose; narrow forehead; almond shaped dark brown eyes, and admittedly perfectly porportioned lips. A heart-shaped face is framed by exceptionally thick, dark brown hair, that depending on her mood, is either curly or straight, although it is most usually thrown up in a sloppy bun at the top of her head.
Normally her slightly pale skin is covered in dark bruises and cuts, covered up by batman or my little pony bandaids. Other than that she also wears jeans and tee-shirts, with the odd skirt or fancier shirt thrown in. Pertaining to make-up she wears hardly any at all, finding it troublesome. You're lucky to see her with even light black eye liner, let alone concealer or blush. Oddly enough Teagen prefers hiking boots to any other type of shoe and wears them with almost everything, excepting shorts or skirts.
Personality:: Once upon a time, Teagen was exceptionally happy and optimistic, laughing at jokes that weren't even funny. Not to mention, she was out-going, flirty, and had the uncanny ability to get along with people from almost every walk of life or clique. That didn't necessarily mean she was popular, anything but. Instead she was crazy, eccentric, and almost excessivly friendly. Now, however, she is quiet and shy. She has almost no friends and finds it hard to start or engage in conversations, often stuttering horribly around strangers, or even people she's known for a while. Where once merely enjoyed reading, she now throws herself into stories wildly, using a well-written novel to escape from her own life and venture into some other world, where none of the events of last year happened. Also, a few obscure references are wont to make her become either extremly sad, or even cry. These include but are not limited to: zombies, clouds, tree huggers, and hippies. Yeah, its a little odd, but bear in mind, she did just loose her best friend.
There are a few other things you should probably know, including her intense fear of three things in this world that might seem rather surprising. Well, the first two are actually quite normal. Heights, even looking at something that's high up, make her dizzy and scared, making it hard for her to be even a few feet in the air. Storms also terrify her, especially ones with lightning and thunder. Although she has learned to control this fear, she will often refuse to go outside in the rain, although this might also have to do with her intense dislike for getting wet. Her last and perhaps most absurd fear is that of birds, even little ones. When they come near her she will scream and run away, often to the laughter of those around her.
History:: Teagen was born in Wisconson, although her family didn't stay there long. At the age of seven, do to monetary and occupational concerns, her family moved to Savannah, Georgia, where she was finally able to begin riding. She loved the sport, and loved the horses, too, although she often had to leave them behind during her family's frequent camping outings. it was during one of these in North Dakota that she foolishly stood at the edge of a cliff and watched a storm come in, almost getting hit by lightnng. This single experience left her terrified of both heights and storms. When she returned home, however, all was made better when she met the person that would soon become her best friend in the world: Jessie. The two girls were inseperable, spending all their time together either at the barn or anywhere else they could find. Before long they were spending every day they could helping muck out stalls at the lesson stables, or even just sitting beneath a tree in the pasture and watching the horses graze. In fact, Jessie was the one who helped Teagen pick out her first pony ever, a little mutt of a bugger named Chico. He was green, it was true, but he was also the sweetest thing on two legs and would, in later years, often let the two girls ride him bare back with nothing but a halter and a firm grip on his mane.
After Teagen out grew Chico she moved on to a different horse, a chestnut thoroughbred named Jack. he was a former racehorse, and Teag soon had him shaping up to become a wonderful event horse, which he took to with a passion. But then, one day many years later, on Teagen's fifteenth birthday, they took Jack and Jessie's horse, Bell, on a trail ride. They had heard rumors of wild hogs in the area, but they had disregarded them as just that, rumors. As the case may have it, however, it wasn't a rumor. A pack of them sprang out of the bushes almost beneath their horse's feet. Both reared and took off bucking,a nd both girls were tossed. Teagen landed safely, only trampled by the hogs and breaking her left arm. Jessie, however, hit a tree with her head, splitting her slightly old helmet in two and would later enter a coma she would never wake up from. Both horses fled the scene, crazed with fear and ran out onto a nearby highway. Belle was killed instantly, but Jack was found two hours later, and had to be put down. Teagen was devastated. She had lost both her best friend, the type of friend who would blind fold her and lure her into an aviary, only to roll on the ground laughng as Teagen shrieked, and her horse on the same day. She never returned to the barn and grew apart from all her friends. However, she later found out that Jessie had bought her a puppy for her birthday and kept him as her only companion. Her parents, in a fit of desperation, sent her to Unbroken Canter, hoping it would return her to normal.
