Name:: Alyssa (Lyss) Lynne Leviera (LIV-eer-a) Birthday:: December 22nd Gender:: Female Average weight:: 110lbs Height:: 5’5
Nationality:: Born in Canada, raised in the U.S.A in Miami, Florida Eye color:: Light blue that can soften but is usually sharp and electric. Hair Color:: Dark brown, almost black. Description:: She tries to be different, all the time. She is very thin, almost anorexic thin, but she doesn’t have any eating disorders. She is fairly tall, with long, strong legs because of her horse-back riding, and a naturally charming face. Her hair is about to in between her shoulders and usually in a pony tail or windblown from riding a horse without a helmet. Her hair is fairly straight, with only a little bit of wave and her eyes are usually fierce or guarded. She usually wears jeans, a tight t-shirt, a tight sweater and either runners or high heeled boots. She rarely wears make-up and if she does, she only wears eyeliner, mascara and possibly lip-gloss.
Personality:: She is complicated, let’s go with that. She wants to be friendly, trusting and upbeat, but she can’t let herself trust anyone anymore. She’s always guarded, protecting herself from what she knows people will do to her. She’s never had a real friend, only people who use her then leave her to be somebody else’s problem. She tries to be nice, but she has a temper at times and can be very sarcastic and vicious. She gets into trouble with the teachers sometimes, but then it isn’t her fault. Usually it’s when a teacher is wrongly accusing her of something and she is blamed for sticking up for herself, seeing as nobody else would. She can be wild, and likes to have a good time, but never opens up. If you can get her guard down, you can see that she’s been through a lot and that the mean, sarcastic girl everybody sees is just an act to protect her self. She is really a nice, sweet, fun loving girl who knows how to have a good time, while not getting into trouble. She can be persistent, stubborn and sometimes reckless. But she can usually stay calm and think things through quickly if she's in a tough situation. She usually thinks logically, but isn't too hard headed to not believe things may not be as they seem, and that some things may be crazy, but that's just one way of looking at it.
History:: Her life was hard from the start. When she was born, her parents always fought, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they were fighting because they were getting a divorce and neither one wanted to keep her. Her mother was stuck with her, but didn’t really do much to be a mother. Her mother was always gone, spending all the money she had, not caring whether she lived or died. But nobody ever thought to help her. When she was old enough, her mother sent her to work, either doing things around the house or in the neighbourhood. She was often beaten by her mother and her mother never spoke to her other than calling her names, or telling her what to do. When she was about nine, her mother couldn’t take it anymore. Her mother didn’t want to live anymore, she didn’t want to take care of her daughter, and she didn’t have anything left, so she ended her life. She took a small gun she had been hiding in the kitchen and shot herself. But what she said right before she shot herself would scar her daughter for life. She said, This is all your fault. If I didn’t have you, I might have something to live for. That would forever be the only thing her daughter would remember her saying. So she was sent to live with her dad, and at first she hoped it would be better. But it wasn’t, it was the same, maybe worse. She was only given enough food to keep away the suspicion that she was being starved, and she was basically a slave to her own father. He cursed at her, he threw things at her, and he called her a waste of space and money. That was only the beginning. The only thing she had was her job at a stable outside the city. She cleaned stalls, fed and watered horses, cleaned tack, did any little jobs the owners needed her to do, and in return, they taught her to ride a horse. They said she had a natural talent for it, and soon started putting her in shows. She earned a lot of money and reputation for the stable, and that’s really all the owners cared about. She met the owner’s son a week after she started working at the stable, and he seemed nice enough to her. When she was thirteen, she started dating him and it went well at first. Then he started to be more abusive and controlling. She wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone he didn’t like, and she wasn’t allowed to do certain things because he didn’t want her to. He tried taking over her life, and when she tried to stop him, he dealt with her his way. Then he left her broken and brushed her away like a horse would a fly. She quit her job at the stable and tried to get on with her life, but her dad made it hard, he kept reminding her of everything just because he knew it would hurt her. So, she made a shield around herself, not letting anyone or anything in, living her life just trying to survive. Then her dad heard of a special school, although he just thought of it as a way to get rid of her. He immediately enrolled her and sent her on her way, making her take everything of hers with her, which was a lot even though she didn’t get much money. She looked at it as a way to get away from her dad, and maybe get some time to sort things out, but knew she would always have some sort of guard up, making sure she wouldn’t get hurt.
